MOUNTAIN INTRODUCES BASE CAMP 1.1.3 AND NEW EVEREST AND MAKALU 67 FIRMWARE
It’s the season of giving, and we have plenty of updates for your precious MOUNTAIN gear. The most exciting changes include a new custom RGB lighting effect for Everest, allowing for more complex lighting arrangements.
As of this version onwards, Base Camp is now supported on Windows 11, too! The finishing touches on this round of updates are several bug fixes, quality of life improvements, and new languages. Base Camp now also speaks simplified Chinese, Korean and Japanese.
Makalu 67 gets custom surface calibration, allowing you to optimize the sensor performance for your mouse pad. Please be aware that these new features require the latest firmware updates for Everest and Makalu 67, now available through Base Camp. Find out how to tune your Makalu 67 here.
Get the latest version of Base Camp via in-app update or download it here.
In order to enjoy the new RGB effects head over the “LIGHTING” tab of your Everest keyboard in Base Camp and select “CUSTOM”.
Select the desired effect and select individual keys or use drag-select for multiple keys to set the effect to the keys.
Please note: the LED ring around the keyboard only supports the static light effect.
Please see the changelogs for the complete list of changes:
