MacroPad’s MOUNTAIN Tactile 55 switches are hot-swappable and can be replaced with any Cherry MX-style switch, both 3-pin and 5-pin models are supported. To replace a switch, use the Keycap/Switch puller tool to remove the keycap with the wire end. Then use the pliers end and align the metal parts with small indents on the north and south sides of the switch. Gently press the metal parts together and pull the switch out.

If a switch doesn’t come out easily, you may need to readjust the position of the pliers on the switch
